Cleaning Instructions

Most everyday spills and stains can be cleaned with a simple soap and water solution. With a little routine care, your upholstery will stay beautiful for years to come. Follow the step by step care instructions below to keep your Ease Performance Fabrics looking their best.

To treat more challenging stains such as salad dressing, makeup, or candle wax immediately apply an absorbent, such as cornstarch, directly on the stain.

Let the absorbent sit for 10 minutes to help lift the stain.

Remove the excess using a straight edge or ruler to prevent the stain from being pressed into the fabric. It is imperative to utilize vacuum extraction to remove any excess absorbent.

Follow with the routine spot cleaning process.

*Some stains, like permanent marker, mustard or nail polish may not be completely removable.

How to Clean Ease Fabrics

Things You Need

  • Towel
  • Mild Detergent
  • Misting Spray Bottle

Instructions

1

Blot and Prepare Solution

First, blot away excess liquids using a dry towel and brush off any loose debris. Prepare a cleaning solution of a 1⁄4 teaspoon of a mild detergent (such as Tide detergent or Dawn dishwashing liquid) and 1 cup of lukewarm water.

2

Apply the Cleaning Solution

Apply the cleaning solution using a misting spray bottle and allow the solution to soak into the fabric, but do not oversaturate as leftover soap residue can attract dirt. Work the solution into the affected area by lightly scrubbing it with a towel or sponge. Make sure to work from the outside of the stain inward.

3

Rinse and Dry

Rinse thoroughly with clean water to remove all soap residue. Blot excess moisture with a clean towel. Allow fabric to air dry to evaluate if further care is required.

4

Repeat

Repeat the above steps as needed
